Is it worth paying the extra money for a 3430 over the 3130 to get 3 additional hp? Will the difference be noticeable in mowing tall field grass with a 5' mower, loader work, snowblowing, using a logging winch, or pulling rocks, etc? Thanks, Jim

The extra horsepower is going to be noticed on PTO work, both tractors respectfully weigh the same. The only time you might notice it is climbing a hill but chances are you wouldn't if you didn't have the two there to compare. ....

I just finished mowing 40 acre with a l3010/5'landpride mower.Works like a charm,plenty of power.
The only comment I have on the FEL is the breakout power
when digging but I can't imagine 3hp will change that much.
I was in the same position as you and went with the 3010hst
no complaints........go for it. ....

I don't think you can have enough horsepower, it's all up to you to use it properly ....
